This is a VERY simple recipe that works great as a desert or evening snack. Thanks to my friend Eva Mergen for coming up with the idea and sharing it with me. This is a healthy dessert alternative.

Ingredients:
- Applesauce
- Granola Cereal
- Cinnamon
Add equal parts Granola Cereal & Applesauce to a bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Heat in microwave if desired. Enjoy!
Chunky Applesauce from Trader Joe’s is the best! The only option that has a chance to trump is make your own. I usually put a dollop on my oatmeal with a handful of raisins making the oatmeal with a splash of extra water because I don’t pollute it with dairy. Like having dessert for breakfast. Granola is tastier than oatmeal, and the crunch is more dessert like but it also has higher fat content.
